Co-organised by Chow Tai Fook Charity Foundation and Hong Kong Social Venture Capital Foundation , Sham Shui Po’s first large-scale street carnival ‘Come Phil Festival’ was successfully held at Tai Nan Street  on April 28 .The event attracted over 5,000 residents and kai fongs to participate enthusiastically in the 40 thematic booths and large-scale art installations,  to experience the diverse charms of Sham Shui Po.

Mr Peter Cheng,  Chairman of Chow Tai Fook Charity Foundation, said that the partnership with Hong Kong Social Venture Capital Foundation  is named ‘Come Phil Festival ‘ in the hope that it will provide a visible ‘net of goodness’ for the partners who have been working quietly in the community, and that when more of them are pulled together at the same time, a ‘net of goodness’ will be formed.

A number of guests were invited to attend the opening ceremony, including Mr Chris Sun, JP, Secretary for Labour and Welfare, The Government of HKSAR, Mr Cheng Kar Shing, Peter, Chairman of the Chow Tai Fook Charity Foundation, Dr Adrian Cheng Chi-Kong SBS, JP. 「沒有年齡的課室」由周大福慈善基金及和悅慈善基金共同捐助,透過構建跨代學習平台,將幼兒服務融入長者服務中,讓幼兒和長者在互動中建設彼此的互助關係,促進世代之間的了解和尊重,推動跨代連結。

疫下困境|今年首季貧富差距擴至47倍%20樂施會促提高最低工資

疫情下基層收入受嚴重影響,樂施會分析統計處過去3年數據,將家庭月入中位數分成10個等級,發現最貧窮住戶收入於今年首季較2019年大跌22.9%,至僅2,700元,對比最高收入住戶的家庭月入中位數12.76萬元,相差47.3倍,較疫前2019年的34.3倍大幅擴大,顯示貧富懸殊更趨嚴重。

爭取輪候公院服務前早治療 新生會助患者睇私家精神科

由周大福醫療基金、傅德蔭基金及施永青基金共同資助新生精神康復會的「精神科醫療資助及社區支援計劃」,讓正輪候公立醫院精神科專科門診新症的香港居民且有經濟困難,經社工轉介及提交申請後,獲資助到指定私家精神科醫生接受治療。

目前,公立醫療的精神科專科服務動輒輪候長達1-2年,計劃讓有需要人士及早接受介入及治療,能避免情況惡化。受助人驚恐症患者呂先生,經社工評估後會見精神科醫生,服藥及進行心理輔導,成功銜接公立醫院精神專科服務,重歸正常生活步伐及工作。

合資格人士可接受一年最多12次的150元優惠診金或全免資助私人精神科醫療服務,視乎家庭入息上限而釐定。
